In our experience, funding is one of the biggest factors for our students when choosing a university for their postgraduate degree. That’s why in 2018/19, we offered just under £10 million in postgraduate scholarships across a range of subject areas and qualifications. Opportunities are available throughout the academic year - check out what you may be eligible to receive.

Postgraduate government funding is also available for UK/EU students starting eligible master’s courses at Swansea. If you’re an English, Welsh or EU student looking to undertake a PhD level course with us, you may be able to borrow up to £25,700 towards the cost of your studies. 4. Postgraduate study to boost your employability

We believe there’s more to your postgraduate degree than enhancing your knowledge of your subject area. All of our postgraduate programmes are designed to provide you with essential skills to take into the workplace, as well as helping you stand out in a competitive jobs market.

With a range of partner organisations including the DVLA, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, IBM, Santander and the NHS, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in short work placements and summer programmes.

The Swansea Employability Academy will be on hand throughout your studies to provide expert guidance on job searching, CV writing and interview preparation to ensure that you have the best possible chance of success in the jobs market.

We’re proud of our picture-perfect location right on the coastline of South West Wales.
